To support, encourage, and advance the robotics program and related activities of the Orono Robotics programs, to promote STEM education, and to promote FIRST Robotics.
Introducing the Spartobots: Orono High School's New Robotics Club!
After a seven-year hiatus, robotics is back at Orono High School! The Spartobots, our newly formed Robotics Club, are diving into the world of innovation, problem-solving, and STEM excellence as part of the renowned FIRST Robotics Program.
Starting fresh is an exhilarating challenge! As a start-up team, the Spartobots are building from the ground up—creating an inventory of tools, materials, and resources to design and construct competitive robots. The Spartobots Boosters, established in 2024, have already secured a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status, making it easier for our community and supporters to help us grow.
We Need Your Help!
Launching a competitive robotics team requires immense resources, including:
Tools for building and prototyping
Essential materials for robot construction
Team uniforms and competition fees
With your support, we can empower our students to learn cutting-edge skills, solve real-world challenges, and compete on a national stage.
